2 in 1 Monster Tractor Cart from Tractor Supply Co.
Posted by admin
We bought this cart a few weeks ago from our local Tractor Supply Company store. It’s called the “2 in 1 Monster Cart”. It cost $250USD, and was well worth it, as it has a 4 foot by 6 foot deck, and can support 2,000 LBS. The sidewalls remove so you can use it as a cart or a flatbed! (hence 2 in 1). My only complaint is the hole for the hitch pin should be a normal size, not the size of a pencil. Oh well, 2 seconds with a drill will fix it. We plan on doing a couple of mods to it, probably going to bolt down a peice of plywood for a floor, and put a DC powered winch at the back so we can reel in broke down junkers up ramps. If you have a junkyard filled with tractors, this cart is a must.
Heres the link, you other tractor nuts should get one:

So far we’re happy …
So far we’re happy with it. It’s not the most precision built thing, but the frame seems solid. I will say it is a pain to back up a cart with a steerable front axle, but what are you gonna do?

you like that …
you like that trailer? cuz i might buy one. tell me if there are any other problems than the pin.

like that cart i have a john deere 165 hydro drive and a simplicity 6216 and i have to mow lawns about a mile away from my house and it looks like a good idea to put my jd on the trailer and tow it with my simplicity cuz my simplicity is faster and has more power

Yeah the sides do …
Yeah the sides do seem kinda flimsy, although I’m glad to hear the frame is holding up OK. This past Sunday we cut a sheet of plywood and put that down over the bed.

Got that same cart …
Got that same cart from Tractor Supply 2 years ago. The sides are a little weak if you’re putting in heavy stuff like large rocks and logs. Frame is holding up well though.
The included pins that hold on the panels tend to fall out easily. When that happens, just use long screws and nuts with lock washers to replace them.
I’ll probably end up welding a sheet of metal to the bottom, because the expanded wire isn’t the strongest surface.

Come to think of it …
Come to think of it- would also make a great platform to work on those broken tractors as well- one time i got a couple heavy duty wood crates to work on tractors- unfortuntely termites got to em and had to chuck em out- im thinking of building another sort of lifted setup to make it easier to work on em.

Really- the $50 red …
Really- the $50 red cart i got from Harbor frieght has a large hole in the hitch- seems odd it’d have such a small hole for such a large cart.

I’m gonna drill out …
I’m gonna drill out the hole on the cart, for some reason it’s the size of a pencil!

Could use some 18″ wheels off of some parts tractors. I’m doing that to my old cart.
I may have it done soon and posted in a video.
