how to make your tractor fast in 3 easy steps
Posted by admin
3 easy steps to make your lawn tractor pretty swift and and make it fun…you can do all of this for under 100 dollars. the 51″ belt is going to have to be from Tractor Supply Company because the genuine MTD belt for these tractors are 52″ inch standard. The black pipe, elbows, and connectors are available at practically any hardware store. The foot throttle is a self made setup and is going to require some creativity and some scrap parts laying around if you have any, if not, you can buy similar things at a hardware store.
I HAVE HAD ALOT OF DOUCHES COME TO THIS VIDEO AND SAY IM A DUMBASS AND THAT STRAIGHT PIPING YOUR ENGINE WONT MAKE IT FASTER AND THAT I NEED A KILL SWITCH AND THAT I NEED A GOVERNOR BYPASS. IF YOU DONT THINK STRAIGHT PIPING ONE OF THESE ENGINES DOES A DIFFERENCE, THEN TRY IT YOURSELF FIRST! I HATE KILL SWITCHES AND I DO NOT WANT IT FOR THIS TRACTOR SO QUIT TELLING ME I NEED ONE! ALSO, THE GOVERNOR IS ALREADY BYPASSED BY THE FOOT THROTTLE! IF YOU HAVE CAME TO THIS VIDEO TO ABOUT THAT THIS WONT MAKE YOUR TRACTOR FASTER, ITS FUNNY IVE BEEN GETTING NEARLY 10MPH+ OUT OF IT THAN STOCK! THIS IS A SIMPLE WAY TO MAKE YOUR TRACTOR A BIT FASTER FOR UNDER 100 DOLLARS NOT A SERIOUS WAY TO MAKE IT FASTER THAT WOULD COST AS MUCH AS 500 OR 600 DOLLARS!
the 51″ inch belt from Tractor Supply Company will cost $16.00
the 1″ straight pipe and connectors and elbows will cost approx. $40.00
the foot throttle setup for me was free, but in parts it may cost you $15.00-$20.00 for everything
So its an easy way to make your tractor fast without spending $300.00 or more, so enjoy guys! give it a shot!!!

To make it go even faster if you get the chance and you have the money you need to start experimenting with different pulleys but for now this is a pretty good setup for how almost stock it is.
