ADB on food crisis in Asia: pricing too not just supply

Managing director of Asian Development Bank Rajat Nag says atleast in Asia the current food crisis is more to do with the pricing than the supply itself. Protectionist moves on rice as a national holding by countries to curb rice export are exasperating the situation? It’s high time to focus on the investments in agricultural infrastructure, technical assistance and research & development.
